Dissertation: The subject of my capstone project is group prenatal care, an innovative model of providing prenatal care in groups of 6-10. Research has shown that women who participate in group prenatal care have better perinatal health outcomes. My goal is to implement a pilot program of group prenatal care at University Health Center, a busy urban clinic in Detroit MI.
