Biography
I am a family nurse practitioner currently practicing in southern NJ, and I have a special clinical passion for diabetic management and women’s healthcare. Prior to becoming a family NP, I worked as an emergency room nurse, during which time I obtained my certification in emergency nursing. I am married to an Air Force pilot, and I have taken a particular interest in the healthcare of veteran women. I recently enrolled in the DNP program at the University of Missouri- St. Louis, and for my doctorate research I plan to study the barriers that are unique to military women in regards to breastfeeding for at least 12 months, as recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics.
