Ms. Gyura is currently a MS/DNP student at Columbia University with a specialty in Pediatrics. She has worked as a Registered Nurse in multiple clinical settings, including general medicine, adult critical care, outpatient orthopedics, and pediatric skeletal dysplasia, and has her certification in Medical-Surgical Nursing. Prior to her nursing career, she was a blood bank technician in the United States Army and spent two years in Germany with the Armed Services Blood Bank Center – Europe. In Germany, she developed a love for meeting and treating patients through volunteer assignments with soldiers arriving from Iraq and Afghanistan. She would like to focus on pediatric care within the veteran community in order to provide complete, holistic care for the entire family unit.
