Biography

Captain Brenda Ross currently is a Regional Clinical Manager at Program Support Center-Federal Occupational Health Clinical Services Division in Dallas, TX. She is responsible for the operational management of 81 occupational health centers nationally. Captain Ross is a mission-oriented Public Health Nurse Executive with more than sixteen years of occupational and environmental healthcare experience including federal program development, management and oversight; budgeting, contracts and acquisitions; and performance improvement and regulatory compliance. Prior clinical experience includes occupational and environmental health, federal corrections, community health, intermediate care, and post-anesthesia care. Captain Ross received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Louisiana at Lafayette (formerly University of Southwestern Louisiana), a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Health Care Education from University of Phoenix. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Arlington where her research focus is on wellness and health promotions, specifically smoking cessation in federal employees.
