Biography

CPT Christina Terehoff entered the Army as a Nurse Corps Officer and received her U.S. Army commission through ROTC at George Mason University Her first duty assignment was at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Germany, where she completed the Brigadier General Ana Mae Hayes Clinical Nurse Transition Program (CNTP) and served as a Clinical Staff nurse on 10CD, the largest inpatient ward outside of the United States. She was responsible for providing nursing care to wounded U.S. soldiers and NATO forces serving in Afghanistan and Iraq. Upon transfer to Fort Bragg, NC, she served in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) as a PACU clinical nurse and Charge Nurse at Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg. CPT Terehoff is a Distinguished Military Graduate from George Mason University where she also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She is currently working on her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in order to become both a Family Nurse Practitioner and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. Her DNP project focuses on education to increase Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Vaccination as an anti-cancer vaccine through a multimodal approach which includes social media. Her passion is caring for veterans and their families and she looks forward to a lifelong commitment of service to our military community, our foreign allies, and those in need as an Army Family Nurse Practitioner.
