I have 24 years of varied clinical experience as both a Registered Nurse and a Family Nurse Practitioner, caring for all age groups across the health continuum. My experience has been mostly hospital based, working on various in-patient units and all aspects of emergency medicine, including staff nurse positions, clinical management and as a nurse practitioner. I have been a member of Sigma Theta Tau, Epsilon Mu chapter and the Emergency Nurses Association. I started the DNP program at Wagner College in the Fall 2014 semester, with an anticipated completion in 2016. The program focus is on Emergency Preparedness and Disaster Management. My clinical practice interests range from disaster management in the community setting, as well volume management/through-put in the Emergency Department.
