Ian Loy is a BS-PhD student in the nursing science adult gerontology primary care track at University of South Florida’s college of nursing. He graduated Magna Cum Laude at the University of South Florida. Ian is beginning his nursing career on the surgical oncology unit at Tampa General Hospital. He has worked on several research studies focusing on managing symptoms in the patient with cancer. Ian was recently inducted as a member of Sigma Theta Tau and is also a member of the Oncology Nursing Society. Mr. Loy’s research interest focuses on symptom management for persons with cancer and specifically chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy.
