I have 14+ years of nursing experience includes critical care, diabetes and hemodialysis patients’ care in civilian nursing include military nursing. I earned my BSN at University of New York and currently I am taking DNP/FNP in Uniformed Services University as Army active personnel. I am a member of the American Nurses Association-Military, American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, and 38th Parallel Nurse Society. Through my bedside nursing role, I have been taking care of patients that affected by their sexual abuses through their life. I believe that nursing is a holistic care that considers not only the physical aspects of a patient’s illness, but the emotional and spiritual aspects as well. Based on my clinical experiences, I am ready for future research in Sexual Trauma in the military involved in community health.
