I am pursuing a Master’s in Public Health with a concentration in epidemiology and Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing Science. I want to use this education to better understand the factors that contribute to the inequities in healthcare among underserved populations and establish the foundational leadership necessary to achieve equitable health care for all. I am passionate about being a nurse who one day will provide the scientific evidence that is necessary to implement change in the delivery and quality of healthcare. I hope to lead efforts to implement public policy that guarantees equitable health care for all individuals especially the underserved.
