Ms. Schexnayder is a first year PhD student at Case Western University and a Nurse Fellow in the Veterans Administration Quality Scholars program. Her clinical and research interests focus on healthcare quality and health services utilization among individuals infected with HIV. Her nursing experience includes positions in infection prevention/hospital epidemiology, quality management, and clinical HIV care. She is an Advanced AIDS Certified Registered Nurse and currently sits on the editorial board for the Journal of the Association for Nurses in AIDS Care. She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice and Master of Nursing degrees from the University of Virginia, and her Master of Public Health from the Johns Hopkins University.
