I am currently working toward my PhD in Nursing at University of Missouri-St. Louis. I completed my MSN at the University of Central Missouri and my BSN at Southeast Missouri State University. My research interest is nursing education with a focus on the use of standardized nursing exams as a predictive criterion. I have been in the nursing profession for 20 years and a nurse educator for the past 11 years. In 2005 I began teaching at a school of practical nursing and became the program coordinator just one year later. In 2014, I began teaching in the BSN program at Southeast Missouri State University.
