Kerry Wulpern has completed two years of a four year program at the University of Michigan at Flint, planning to graduate May 2016 receiving an Adult/Geriatric Nurse Practitioner and Doctorate of Nursing Practice degrees. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Norwich University in 2010. She currently works on a step down cardiology unit at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. After starting her career in cardiology it soon became very obvious to Kerry that she had grown quite fond of the heart failure patient population, it is in this area that she hopes to specialize as a nurse practitioner. She is an active participant on the heart failure committee to improve patient education and decrease readmission rates. When Kerry isn’t working or doing school work she likes to spend time volunteering, most recently participating in a blood pressure clinic at local community dinners. She likes to spend time participating in outdoor activities, alpine skiing, kayaking, playing golf, spending time at the water, and playing with her American Bulldog Daisy.
