Lisa Harrison earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Boston College and a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Fairfield University. Prior to earning her Master of Science in nursing from Stony Brook University, Ms. Harrison held several nursing leadership positions in home care and psychiatric and substance abuse treatment programs. She currently works as a psychiatric nurse practitioner with children, adolescent, and adults in inpatient and outpatient settings. She also is a graduate assistant at the University of Connecticut School of Nursing where she is a student in the Doctor of Philosophy program. Her research interests include employee engagement, resilience, ethics, and quality improvement in nursing.
