Biography

Marjorie will be starting Columbia University’s Doctor of Nursing Program this fall. Her extensive educational background includes undergraduate degrees in Biological Science and Nursing from Binghamton University, as well as graduate degrees in Public Health and Advanced Practice Pediatric Nursing from Columbia University. During her graduate studies, she received the Amgen Scholarship, was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing Alpha Zeta Chapter, and was awarded the School of Nursing’s Faculty Award for Professional Excellence in a Sub-Specialty (Oncology). Professionally she has dedicated her career to pediatric oncology in the roles of nurse and pediatric nurse practitioner. With almost a decade in the field, she is committed in the improvement of care of children with chronic illness.
