I currently work as an education specialist in critical care division holds current CCRN certification. I have many years of working experience in numerous critical care areas including CTICU. I design and conduct critical care courses and provide lectures in EKG, basic and advanced hemodynamic monitoring and more. With my current role in education, I apply the adult teaching and learning principles in lesson planning and educational events. Being a member of various project and PI committees I partner with other departments to make the teaching and learning more effective for nurses. I also function as a selected volunteer member of Special Task Force Committee of American Association of Heart Failure Nurses (AAHFN) assisting with special projects or short-term task forces. I am currently pursuing Ph.D. in Nursing. Current leadership roles I have are listed below. • Vice president of Education, Good Souls Club of Toast Masters international Paterson, NJ(2017-2018) • Committee chair for Newsletter- Indian Nurses Association New Jersey local chapter, (2017-2018). • Vice-Chair for Nursing Research Steering Committee, University Hospital, Newark, NJ(2017-2018)
