Meghan Routt MSN, ANP/GNP-BC, AOCNP currently works as a nurse practitioner for Wesley Glen-Methodist Elder Care Services which is a not for profit continuing care retirement community committed to serving older adults and helping facilitate aging in place. Meghan is currently enrolled full time as a nursing PhD student at the University of Utah. She was awarded a Noorda gerontology fellowship for her first three years of coursework in the PhD. She is also a former Hartford Scholar awarded in her MSN program. Meghan has served as the national practice committee chair for the Gerontological Advanced Practice Nursing Association as well as is the immediate past president of the Ohio Chapter and serves as the current secretary/treasurer. She has published in the Clinical Journal of Oncology Nursing, edited three books, two currently in press and done podium presentations on the local, national and international level. Meghan’s dissertation will focus on developing a multi-modal personalized prehabilitation intervention in older adults diagnosed with pancreatic cancer prior to a pancreaticoduodenctomy. She is honored to accept the prestigious Jonas Nurse Leadership scholarship.
