Biography

Molly Jackson is a doctoral candidate and instructor at the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing, Case Western Reserve University, where she is currently completing a DNP. Ms. Jackson has achieved certification as an Advanced Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse by the National Board for Certification of Hospice and Palliative Nurses. She is a certified trainer in the ELNEC (End of life Nursing Education Consortium) curriculum. Her teaching interests include gerontology, palliative care, end of life education and teaching/learning strategies. Ms. Jackson completed a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Michigan and a Master of Science in Nursing from Case Western Reserve University. She is a member of the National League of Nursing and Sigma Theta Tau International. She is also a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nurses and the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association. For her doctoral project she is conducting a program evaluation of a nurse led outpatient palliative care program delivering care to adults over the age of 65.
