Marquette University DNP
Biography

Nicole Gruebling MS, BSN, RN, NEA-BC is currently the Director of Specialty Clinics and Ambulatory Nursing at Froedtert Hospital. She has had the opportunity to work as a nursing leader for the last 11 years and has been a nurse for nearly 20 years. Over this time passion and work has been focused on ensuring exceptional access and care for our most vulnerable populations. While my current and most recent work has been with Froedtert Hospital, she has always had a special interest in ensuring exceptional care for our veterans. This interest was formed at a young age through her care of veterans early in her career and more recently through her husband, who is also a veteran. In order to realize the goal of exceptional care provision, it is essential to cultivate a work environment that supports knowledgeable, accountable and engaged front line staff and front line nurse leaders. The focus of Nicole’s DNP capstone work will center on elevating the practice environment for frontline nursing leaders, especially leaders who are supporting staff and patients from our most vulnerable adult/older adult populations. Nicole is honored to be a part of healthcare as we know it today, but we have the unique opportunity to improve healthcare delivery as it currently exists. We have a duty to bring the complex pieces of healthcare together to deliver the highest quality, patient-centered, affordable and accessible healthcare available to every patient we serve.
