I am a PhD student at Washington State University in Spokane WA and the focus of my research is on environmental issues related to the maternal child population. I am a masters prepared registered nurse and am currently teaching maternal child nursing at California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) as well as a staff nurse in the neonatal intensive care unit with Rady Children’s hospital San Diego. I am extremely passionate about environmental health issues and have been a part of a sustainability faculty group at CSUSM. I am also on the community board of Tree of Life Birth Center in Encinitas CA.
