Terrelle Foster
Biography
Terrelle Foster has been a Registered Nurse for 16 years. Mrs. Foster work experience includes adult and geriatric mental health, clinical instruction with BSN students, and a case management supervisor with the Nurse Family Partnership program. She is currently enrolled in the Ph.D. program at Southern University A & M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Her dissertation will identify evidence based mentoring models that are utilized by Professional Nursing Organizations and Nursing Education Organizations to mentor nurses in nursing education and practice. After graduation she would like to collaborate on a nursing research project that will impact nursing education, and teach research to nurses who are seeking their Master’s degree in nursing. Mrs. Foster resides in Baton Rouge with her husband Kevin. She is the mother of two college students. She is currently a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Tau Pi Chapter, American Nurses Association, Louisiana Public Health Association, Baton Rouge District Nursing Association, Louisiana State Nurses Association, and Baton Rouge Black Nurses Association.
