Biography

Triniece Pearson is a PhD student at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Before entering the PhD program at UIC, she obtained a BSN in 2006 followed by a MBA in Health Administration in 2009. While at UIC, Ms. Pearson has worked as a Teaching Assistant in the College of Nursing and as a Research Nurse in the College of Medicine. She plans to pursue a career in research and academia. Ms. Pearson’s research interest is in reducing the rates of sexually transmitted diseases and HIV in African American Women.
