3rd Annual Golf Classic Supports Our Veterans

“Nurses are the backbone of the healthcare system, natural leaders in the changing face of healthcare” – Donald Jonas

The need for nurses is greater than ever. With 78,000 qualified nursing school applicants turned away from nursing programs in 2013 and over 1,300 vacant faculty positions in schools of nursing across the country, the current nursing faculty shortage poses a serious threat to our country’s healthcare.

The Jonas Center is working hard to address the faculty shortage, having recently surpassed the halfway mark towards our goal to support 1,000 doctoral nursing scholars by 2016, with 600 doctoral scholars across the country to date.

Please join us in our efforts to address our country’s need for qualified nurse faculty and high-quality and cost-effective healthcare providers. http://www.jonascenter.org/donate

Congratulations to all of our recent Jonas Scholar graduates!
