Reaches All 50 States
We are pleased to welcome our 2012 Jonas Doctoral Scholars cohort. These 198 exceptional nurses-144 Jonas Nurse Leaders and 54 Jonas Veterans Healthcare Scholars-grow the Jonas Scholar family to more than 250 scholars across all 50 states!

Jonas Center Visits California:
Focus on Veterans’ Healthcare
In early September, the Jonas Center partnered with the UCLA School of Nursing and the UCSF School of Nursing, to host two inaugural panel discussions and funders’ briefings to raise awareness and support for the nurses who are on the frontlines of veterans’ healthcare. More than 60 constituents attended each event, and more briefings are being planned in other cities for 2013.

Celebrates 10 Years

Jonas Center Executive Director, Darlene Curley, was the guest speaker for the Oregon Center for Nursing’s “Collaborate!” 10th
anniversary celebration and fundraising breakfast. More than 225 nursing leaders and community stakeholders gathered to hear Darlene speak.

The Jonas Center is a proud co-sponsor of the newly developed AACN-Wharton Executive Leadership Program, a world-class leadership development experience for nursing school deans and directors designed to provide the concepts and tools needed to enhance leadership capacity and hone the skills that are essential to thrive and move forward strategically.
