American Academy of Nursing Policy Fellows (2014 – 2022)
The Academy-Jonas Policy Scholar’s program is designed to support early-career scholars with a two-year fellowship to learn critical skills on agenda setting, research, policy development, implementation and strategies that can be applied to help advance policy in our country.

- Developing policy expertise in Jonas Priority areas: Environmental & Public health, Psych/MH/Substance Abuse, Aging, Women’s health, Military & Veterans health
- 2019-2020 Cohort will serve to support the Academy’s current policy priorities: (1) Advance Health Equity & Champion Wellness, (2) Promote Innovation and Sustainability, and (3) Reduce Patient, Provider, & System Burden
