Biography

Since joining Walmart, Inc. in 2005, Mendy has focused on improving the health and well-being of 1.6 million Walmart associates across the United States. As part of the People Experience/Benefits Health & well-being team, she is currently responsible for designing, implementing, and measuring the outcomes of health promotion programs. Her work involves applying theory and insights from social and behavioral sciences to create sustainable solutions dedicated to improving health behaviors at a population level. In addition to her role at Walmart, Mendy is a Graduate Research Assistant at KUMC Center for Data Science. Prior to joining Walmart, Mendy worked as a registered nurse and registered nurse practitioner in a variety of clinical settings including, Orthopedics, Physical Medicine & Rehab, Neonatal Intensive Care, and as a flight nurse. She also worked as a Legal Nurse Consultant for CorVel Corporation in risk management. To support the local community, Mendy currently serves on the City of Rogers Arkansas Parks Commission.
