Vanderbilt University PhDBiography
I am in my first year in the PhD program at Vanderbilt University in the clinical research track. My clinical practice interest is in early childhood health promotion with experience working in the neonatal intensive care unit, pediatric urology, and pediatric blood and marrow transplant. I am interested in obesity prevention in early childhood, with a specific interest in maternal factors that could influence a child’s weight trajectory. Once a PhD prepared nurse scientist, I plan on conducting research in an academic setting, ideally with a dual teaching and research appointment.
