Idaho State University PhDBiography
I am currently attending Idaho State University where I am working on my PhD of nursing. I previously earned a Bachelor of Nursing from Weber State University, and a Master of Public Health from George Washington University. Over the past 9 years I have worked in various nursing roles including the ER, PACU, ICU, Infection Prevention, and Quality Improvement. Teamwork is a large part of health care today, and learning how team members collaborate with one another will improve teamwork. My research focus is looking at perceptions and behaviors of students regarding collaboration, and how students learn skills to help them successfully collaborate with other health professions through interprofessional education.
