I am currently entering my fourth year as a dual PMHNP DNP/PhD student. Prior to starting my program I received my BSN and a BS in Family Studies and Human Development from the University of Arizona. My research interest is in LGBTQ mental health inequalities; I am specifically interested in understanding the experiences of transgender youth and their mental health outcomes. I am currently starting my two-year term as President-Elect of the AzNA, Chapter 2. I am currently the Nursing Specialist Manager at the University of Arizona College of Pharmacy Medication Management Center. In this position I manage the nursing students who work at the center while overseeing nurse-assisted medication management programs.
