Biography

Christine received her BSN from The College of New Jersey and her MSN in perinatal/neonatal nurse practitioner from the University of Pennsylvania. She is currently enrolled at Thomas Jefferson University, Jefferson College of Nursing, pursuing her DNP. Christine has worked as a neonatal nurse practitioner in NJ at Virtua Health for the past twenty one years, the last four years as part of The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) Newborn Care Network. More recently, Christine has expanded her practice as the Lead Advanced Practice Provider for the CHOP Newborn Care Network- Neonatology. In this role Christine acts as liaison to the advance practice providers in the network neonatal intensive care units (NICU) with the neonatal team at CHOP -Main campus related to licensing, regulatory requirements, and clinical quality and safety projects. Christine is a Lean Six Sigma green belt in process improvement as well a Change Acceleration Process coach and has led unit and system wide projects at Virtua. She has been instrumental in the education of front-line NICU providers as a Neonatal Resuscitation Program instructor and as a Basic Life Support instructor. Lastly, Christine is currently involved with the Camden County drug addiction education task-force and is part of the Virtua team involved with the NJ State Department of Health task-force on the identification, treatment and support of substance exposed mothers and babies in her community.
