Hyejin Jeon will be enrolled in the PhD program at Columbia University School of Nursing in the fall semester of 2016. Her interests include family intervention for those at risk of suboptimal development and inadequate parenting and pediatric pain management. Hyejin received a BSN from Lehman College of City University of New York. Her clinical background includes over 10 years of experience in pediatric oncology, surgery and transplantation units in South Korea as well as a pediatric long-term care facility and a family medicine outpatient clinic in the United States. While working in the hospital setting in South Korea, she served as a preceptor and clinical instructor for new staff nurses in the pediatric unit.
