I am a 2009 BSN graduate from Western Michigan University currently working in a Neuro Trauma ICU. Beginning in Fall 2014 I will start a DNP program at the University of Michigan with a specialization in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing. I was awarded with a position as a VALOR student for the Battle Creek Veteran’s Hospital in 2009, and there I solidified my interest in mental health issues and management. Specifically, I would like to focus my practice on traumatic brain injuries and the medical and theraputic consequences.
