Biography

Kathleen Boyle, MS, RN, FNP-BC Kathleen (Kitty) Boyle is a family nurse practitioner who has practiced in primary care, home care, and most recently caring for individuals with serious and persistent mental illness (SPMI). Kathleen embraces a trusting, respectful, and caring approach that has enabled her to support thousands of individuals in the journey to wellness. Education: Kathleen graduated from Dominican College of Blauvelt withher Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She attained her Masters of Science degree from College of New Rochelle. She is now a Doctor of Nursing Practice student at Pace University. Experience: Kathleen began her nursing career, as a registered nurse, in home care with the pediatric and adult clients. She then returned to school to pursue her master’s degree and become a Family Nurse Practitioner. The first seven years of her advanced practice career was in primary care settings. Over four years ago her practice began focusing on caring for individuals with SPMI. Currently, Kathleen leads the primary care team in partnership with behavioral health professions colleagues in the first integrative health clinic in New Jersey. Kathleen’s strong belief in the need to institute and support lifestyle modifications for this obese, behaviorally-ill population proved to be so successful that this organization was recognized by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration (SAMHSA) as leaders and are currently expanding these services to the surrounding community.
