I am a PhD student at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Nursing. As a public health nurse, my interests are focused on the ways that people and environments interact to produce health. In particular I am interested in ways that urban neighborhoods affect health behaviors and outcomes. I am committed to the belief that nurses are uniquely positioned to help communities build neighborhoods in which all residents can grow and thrive, and in which healthy choices are easy choices.
