I entered the nursing profession 11 years ago as a labor and delivery nurse. Over the years, I have been honored to be a part of my patient’s lives during these life-changing times. I have also had the privilege to serve as a nursing instructor for generic nursing students. It has truly been a joy to guide them on their journey into nursing. At this time, I am a Labor and Delivery Nurse Educator at an Atlanta metro hospital working with nurses in helping them maintain and enhance their nursing competencies. Additionally, I am currently beginning my second year of the Ed.D. program at the University of West Georgia. I also serve a Clinical Nurse Expert updating and revising nursing skills to ensure evidence-based practice.
