Biography

I am a student in the Doctor of Nursing Practice-Family Nurse Practitioner program at the University at Buffalo. My research interests include quality improvement and health informatics. I hold both a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University at Buffalo. My work experience as a registered nurse has been on an inpatient oncology medical-surgical floor which primarily provides nursing care to patients having undergone neurosurgery, head and neck surgery, thoracic surgery, and/or breast surgery. I also served as a representative on the nurse executive council at the Roswell Park Cancer Institute, which was tasked with developing nursing policies to improve the delivery of patient care. I am a recipient of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation New Careers in Nursing scholarship.
