Rebecca Bratzler is a doctoral candidate at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center College of Nursing where she is pursuing a Doctorate of Nursing Practice. Bratzler received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Baylor University and a Masters of Nursing in Health Systems Management from Vanderbilt University. Her clinical background is in obstetrics and she has taught at the baccalaureate level in this field of expertise. In addition to obstetrics and pediatrics, her background includes education, clinical practice and quality assessment and measure development. Bratzler continues to work in quality resource management for SSM Health. Previous work includes development and implementation of national quality measures for The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, The Joint Commission and the National Quality Forum. She is a member of the Association for Women’s Health Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses, the National League for Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International, and the American Nurses Association.
