Biography
I am a Ph.D. nursing student currently preparing for my preliminary exam. My research interest is transitional care in the setting of a medical respite program for the homeless. I founded and direct the Inland Northwest Transitional Respite Program in Spokane, Washington, and am also an acute care and emergency department nurse. I am a certified Care Transitions Intervention coach, and have modified implemented the CTI for respite guests. The respite program recently won the Providence Health Care Mission Leadership Award. We were chosen for this recognition from a large group of nominees from the western United States.
