Biography

Rose M. Cirilo, RN, BSN, MSN, received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Florida Atlantic University (FAU) Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing. She is currently attending FAU and pursuing a PhD in nursing. She possesses over 20 years of nursing experience in the areas of pediatrics, medical-surgical, obstetrics, orthopedics, ambulatory surgery, telemetry, and behavioral health. Ms. Cirilo actively volunteers her nursing services and clinical expertise to community health clinics for underserved populations. She also works as a research and teaching assistant for the Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing. Ms. Cirilo’s future plans entail the development of a dissertation focusing upon health inequity, needs, and promotion among urban Native American populations.
